Historic Landscape Research & Documentation

The Madison-Morgan Conservancy is regularly engaged in the process of Historic CB 6Landscape Research and Documentation of local properties. This in-depth process begins with data collection, where staff gather data from county archives, courthouses, local historians, and the landscape itself. This information is then evaluated to determine the site’s historic and cultural significance, physical condition, and preservation priorities.
